Since it appears to be an entry-level camera, I hope Pentax does well
with it. I think that not putting the distance scale on the lenses is a
mistake. Expect these to be sold as kits with the body.
If this body is a prologue to others, much depends on which functions
hve been shifted to Pentax functions. One of my many dislikes about the
MZ-S is that things I use often (like switching between 2-second and
12-second delay) became inaccessible Pentax functions on the MZ-S.
They're much more accessible on the PZ-1p.
I won't buy another body that lacks center-weighted average metering. I
hope it won't be left off models designed for more advanced users.
