To be honest I really don't know at this stage.

I will still likely use film for family portraits for the forseeable,
because I want 6*4s of all of them for the album - that's just the
obsessional/anal way I am!

However, I currently shoot SOME portraits on slide (provia and Astia are
great, and it is magnificent seeing them 5 foot high on a projector),
and printing odd ones individually is a hassle. But the very fact I do
this means that I will sometimes use digital for this too.

Where I see me doing more digital is where I traditionally use slides.
I can experiment a lot more and get instant feedback. I really don't
know which I will choose here, but I guess it will initially be a choice
between new toy excitement and old faithful with nice handling. It will
be a choice, rahter than a backup situation.

I actually don't really need or particularly sensibly want digital, its
just an overwhelming urge, reinforced by the hassle of scanning. Where
I currently use print film I will continue to do so almost certainly for
some time.

I just WANT a new toy!!!
