Right. I also don't think there's anything bad about being interested in
photo-tech without necessarily being a very talented photographer. Actually,
it's a very interesting hobby. The science is multifaceted and interlocking,
and there are lots of different aspects to it. Many peoples' photographic
hobbies are quite different, just all photography-related; some people like
rangefinders, some people like Pentax, some people like reading about and
speculating about the busiiness side of the camera companies, some people
like darkroom work, some people like sharpness, some people like trying out
films, etc., etc., etc. It's all okay by me. I think it's interesting
stuff--and an interesting field. I like the fact that there seems to be
something for everybody.
