No, because a DSLR and digi P&S are too far apart in price. A maker
needs a full line (price) so that a sales person can say, "You can start
with this Pentax (P&S) at the low end, or move up to this Pentax (DSLR)
at the high end". You don't want them to say start with Pentax and move
to Olympus, do you. That's how Pentax got wacked with their film SLRs.
