Not to take away from the stimulating discussions of the *ist D but.... In the March 2003 edition of Popular Photography on page 15 "Your Best Shot" an Honorable Mention was given to a photograph shot with a Pentax K1000. The lens, as stated is a "135mm f2.5 Pentax Takumar." Could it possibly be my beloved 135 Takumar (Bayonete) lens?
(forgive me since I don't know all the various guises of 135 M42 lenses or how they would be credited in a caption.). And, on page 26 "Nature" Yosemite is showcased photographed by Tim Fitzharris. His camera system for the spread? Pentax 645. Seems that many pro nature photographers are using Pentax 645. Christian Now, get back to arguing wheter the *ist D looks like a Nikon....
