Stan, Ok, I'll comment on the memory cards. All my other digital cameras (3) use CF cards. Part of the criteria for choosing them was that they accepted CF cards. Also, all my digitals use AA batteries (hi-capacity NH rechargeables) along with my flashes, so I am very happy they made those decisions. Not only are AA's readily available, but NH cells are readily available at Walmart, Target, etc.
