Good luck, I tried my hand at it when there was a revival of "obsolete" photography techniques and materials about 20 years ago. I may have still have some of the results somewhere. I don't remember much about experience except it was much more difficult than I expected.

Yup. I am thinking of trying my hand at hand coating my own sheet film this year.
