William, In another life, I managed a restaurant. The pretty girls made more in tips than the not so pretty ones. In that environment being a great waitress without looks would get pretty good tips. Being a great waitress with looks would get great tips. Being pretty and not such a good waitress would get as good of tips as being proficient without the looks.
Somehow I think that human attraction to cameras is not quite the same thing. The =sexy= camera will get a first look. I would say that the *ist D is cute enough to do that. Features, handling and price will take over after that. IMO they did good enough in the =sexy= department.
