That depends on how you define "compatible". For example, there is no aperture coupling between a screwmount lens and a K mount body when using the appropriate adaptor. I am sure any old Pentax lens will mount on the *ist-D, but whether its *fully functional* (ie open-aperture metering etc) is another matter... and that's what concerns me about the old K lenses. > Because we don't _like_ Canons. <g> Canons are good sledgehammer-to-anvil adaptors (I just read Cotty's post about making a K-to-EOS adaptor).
