Let me reemphasize that I contacted him, he did not contact me. 3. Once I did, he said please pass on this message. So I did. 4. I am a total newbie and am well aware that I am not familiar with who has been on the list a long time and who has made contributions in the past, etc. I was on the list before Mike rejoined again, so I know he has not been on the list the whole time. And I have seen some other people join after me, but other than that, I am clueless. 5. I was trying to ease a situation, not create more friction. 6. I would have preferred, personally, if caveman had not linked in a prick pic to his email without saying what it was. It was a bit of a shock, and I am no prude. Actually, I would prefer, personally, that *no one* link in "pornographic" photographs to any email they send to the list. Or if they do that they state what it is, so I don't inadvertently look at something that when I wouldn't really want to look at in the first place. 7. I don't know Mike any better than I know the rest of you. I like to stay out of personality clashes as much as possible in mailing lists, newsgroups, and muds. But, I admit, I often find them extremely annoying and, even, upsetting. Ergo, I sometimes have the urge to be a peace maker -- an urge which maybe I shouldn't give into to. But sometimes I do. Other than that, please cut me some slack. Doe aka Marnie :-)
