Mike's link affected me much more than the PhotoSig one. The PhotoSig image
was just another bad taste photo on the internet. Shrugged off in a matter
of seconds and forgotten about.
My own Dad died suddenly just a few weeks ago. Unlike the Dad in the photo
essay, he didn't get to choose when he died which brings up a whole new
bunch of emotions. As I'm still quite emotionally raw, I found reading the
photo journal quite upsetting. However, I did feel the compulsion to view
it all.
Would I have looked at the link if Mike had given a warning? Well he did
describe it as both sad and tragic so in a way he did give a warning. I
just chose not to heed it.
Now I'm just sad about all the things I didn't do and didn't say and now
it's too late. Makes you think, doesn't it.
