saying you don't want autofocus or you don't like it is not the same as saying it's no good. it's an old argument because there are a specific set of circumstances where MF will consistently outperform AF of any recent vintage, and that is a small percentage of the time. the rest of the time, AF is faster and at least as accurate within the limits of DOF. the article selects its data to support its argument and ignores the rest.
