<< I remember when Canon changed from FD to EOS. Many users were not happy about this, since they couldn't use their old equipment any more. They had to have twin systems, or they had to sell all their manual focus gear if they wanted to stay with Canon. The EOS system was a slow starter, a slow seller - in the beginning. It wasn't until the release of the EOS 650 that sales started to take off, and the rest - as they say - are history. >>
