It IS built like a tank. Execpt for two unfortunate details: The lens is easily scratched on the barrel, and the focusing ring is much more loose than on other FA primes. I like the F135/f2.8 better. The optical quality, however, is superb.
Unfortunately, Pentax "cheated" on the mechanical design of the FA135/2.8 in order to achieve faster AF speed. So to the FA100/2.8.
