In my case, I was right there, but was using "Snap In Focus" to (try to) avoid technique problems I was having. It works as advertised, but does not appear to make use of the "predictive AF" logic that tries to predict focus for a moving target. That means that targets moving through the DOF quickly can end up consistently out of focus. Unfortunately, ones that are moving through the DOF slowly, but across the field of view quickly, are the same ones that the AF has a hard time catching as they go by. :-( > [...] I'll see if anyone showss up. [...] IIRC, I think you'll find your camera's battery died after only a few dozens of minutes or hours, assuming use used a Release Cable Fg "locked" to keep the shutter pressed. If not, you won't get anything, since the shutter release has to be pressed for it to fire the shutter when something comes into focus. TTYL, DougF KG4LMZ
