On these types of cameras it prints the date and maybe time, but no exposure info, in a visible portion of the picture. What most people want to know is, "How do I turn off this stupid thing that ruined all my pictures?"
If that is so, how come that customers actually buys the data version?
With most cameras, you have an option. You can buy one with or without. I believe camera maker makes versions with data back because they're making money on them, and they're making money on them because some people actually finds it useful. If not, why did they buy it?
