Pentax Japan announced on 27 Mar 2003 that the release of *ist, BG-20, FAJ28-80 and FAJ75-300 will be delayed by one month. The products are now expected to arrive in late April, instead of late March as originally anticipated:

The reason for the delay is: The fine-tuning of the high quality camera body needs a longer time.
