Hi All,
I never ever contribute to the list in an on-going argument-- it would be --
too embarrassing, offensive, something... impolite, perhaps?
Which means I contribute almost never.

one pdmler will make an assertion, another will refute it, often in
obviously inflammatory terms, the original poster will refute, another will
chime in on one side or another, etc., ad nauseum...

The rare occasion or two I've had an on-going email argument with someone,
which has always been about something I've bought or sold on ebay, these
situations really really bothered me. Enough that I'd get flustered, angry,
and then I'd step back and be amazed at how such things could get me so
worked up!

Yet, all too often in this forum, I see regular pdmlers antagonize others--
I don't often see a real need for abusiveness, yet it would seem there are
some members who revel in such activities. Though these folks have a right
to say their mind, their choice of words degrade the quality and humanity of
this fine group.

Thank God there are also saner voices willing to speak up and speak out and
tell them to shut up!!! (though it hasn't worked yet....)

In this information age environment of all sorts of war-mongering vs.
hate-based religious beliefs, right here in our neighborhood, we see
antagonism for antagonism's sake. I hope and pray we, whose
hobby/work/profession centers around "art," which should appeal to our
"humanity," could be a little kinder toward each other.
