I agree with your posting that started as "here is nothing wrong with disagreement. I always get the impression
(at least in the US) that there is.."
We seem to forget that the body politic is a deliberative body and it does indeed, as you further go on to say ".. democracy is
not this pretty thing and yes, it involves debate compromise, otherwise it would be called an authocracy, or dictatorship.."
Perhaps some on this list get a bit arrogant, but that's life and I believe that discourse in an international environment, such as his list is important. If one only seeks the party line then one should unsubscribe and just watch the Pentax site. ;-)
