I have noticed that, too. But it is not a real diaphragm simulator as you cannot change the diaphragm at the lens, directly. I assume that it only transfers the open aperture number to the body, i.e. older K-mount bodies should be able to use the FAJ lenses with open aperture. Cheers, Heiko
