Nothing broadens the mind more then spending some years abroad. As one of these expats, I have spent 3 years in the USA and now almost 4 years in the UK before I go back home in a few months from now, back to the Netherlands. The experience is great, and has changed the way I thought about 'others', in many ways. I wish everyone would have an opportunity like that and take advantage of it.
