Hi,

I would thank all of you who have spent time to answer my questions about
the 17mm PENTAX fish-eye : Paul, Christian, Yoshihiko, Juan, Rob...
In the mean time I've been told of the ZENITAR 16mm fish-eye which costs
less (NEW) than half the price of the (USED) Pentax 17mm, and it has a f/2.8
aperture vs f/4...

I'm seeking a fish-eye to shoot high-quality panormas.
As the feeling from the list is good towards this Russian stuff, my choice
is difficult to make...
- 2650FF for a 2nd hand genuine PENTAX 17mm f/4.0 or
- 1300FF for a new ZENITAR 16mm f/2.8

Is it too early to ask how does the ZENITAR behaves on the 2nd hand market ?
Perhaps after 1 year and a couple of shoots the lens gets trouble ?

Regards,

C.MARION
