By putting the aperture onto A and mode dial to M on the MZ-7, I only found it
was easier to select half stops (f/4, f/4.5, f6.7, f/9.5 ect) but a bit
cumbersome to move my hand from the exposure compensation button to the zoom
barrel.

Unfortunately mine fell apart the first time I read it.  Is this the downward
spiral of Pentax!!!!!
