Pretty tall order.  I guess the first thing to think about is if you
really feel a hole in your lineup.  Fill that in first.  Next, if you
are going to go with an *ist D, then you will be deficient on the wide
end.  Sigma makes a wide 14/2.8 that should work nicely on the *ist D.

For me, I like wides and portrait lenses.  If you've never tried the
FA *85/1.4, it a real beauty for portraits.
