The problem is the word "compatibility" means different things to different people.
Novice user: "Everything works." Experienced user: "Works like it did on the old bodies. Manufacturer: "You can mount it on the body."
Said in jest, but unfortunately, it is only funny because there is a certain
amount of truth in it.
