No they don't. They mostly sell to first time buyers who buys an entry level slr 
bundled with a couple of zoom lenses. And so does Canon. About 85% of their customers. 
This people don't give a damned about compatibility and this explains why 
compatibility isn't such a big deal from the manufacturers point of view.
