REPLY: Agreed. Provided the numbers are correct.I can remember than Canon claimed 8 000 units a month on their web page. Perhaps demand has increased? Anyway, considering that only Nikon and Canon are currently providing DSLR's, and I'm not really sure if the Olympus DSLR's without interchangeable lense are included in the numbers, Canons market share of 80% tells how far behind Nikon is in sales. The most interesting thing with these numbers is that people have accepted the high price of the digital cameras. This can mean that manufacturers will release higher-end cameras to larger extent in the future. The new Olympus points in this direction. Theres no reason why Pentax shouldn't jump into this market as soon as possible. A whole DSLR line-up should be possible to sustain in this growing segment. P�l
