I own and really like the Slik Able 300 DX tripod, and fooling around today stumbled onto THK's Slik Web Page. Many more offerings than a year ago.
One 'pod interests me in particular: the new Pro 400 DX, which appears to have overall dimensions of the 300, perhaps the same head/quick-release, padded legs, a few ounces shaved off, flipper leg locks rather than screws, and a two-piece center column.
All for about 15 dollars more than the 300 DX.
Anyone seen one of these? Comments?
