Is this counter readout normally reported when the camera is 
serviced? I had Pentax Colorado CLA my PZ-1 and I don't remember any 
notation of how many exposures it had seen.

Perhaps cameras should have a small, visible counter inside, like 
photocopy machines?

From that camera 150000 is the minimum you can expect.

Hi, gang.

Subject says it, really.

Got my Z1 back from service today, and a counter in the camera says the
shutter has been tripped close to 9500 times. Just wonder how far into it's
life-time it actually is...
