Don't be cheap and get (stainless) Hewes reels (e.g from Adorama). I have learned the lesson the hard way, ruining a few rolls, complaining to the world how stainless reels suck, then, buying one of these beauties -- and I have never been happier. Loading a Hewes 35mm reel is completely fool-proof.
