Bill I have the f2 version and it is shall we say less then stellar. Wide open
it's not very sharp @ f8 it's reasonably but very sharp in the center. The
edges remain soft throughout the range. Build quality isn't great but it has
withstood some abuse. I find it useful when I'm shooting in elements where I
wouldn't want to expose my better lenses.
