Never had this happen with Purolator. They will try to deliver, and if they fail, they leave a sticky note on the mailbox, and when the parcel gets back to the depot, they phone and leave a message asking to arrange either pick-up or delivery at my convenience. They have never abandoned a parcel in front of my house, have never damaged product being delivered, and have always been totally reliable and reasonable with their charges. The Post office works much the same way, except they don't phone. William Robb
