Small detail: The ones with the plastic top plate also have
plastic rewind knob.

Speaking of K1000 versions: I've seen two different versions of
the K1000 SE. One has "SE" engraved/ambosses/whatever in the top
plate itself and the other just had an "SE" sticker in that
location. I know the one with the sticker was an early one with
the metal top plate. Don't remenber if the other one was a
plastic or metal top plate. Anyone know about this?

I had an SE *without* the engraved "SE" on the top plate. I put
it on eBay and a Japanese collector paid $235.00 for it.
