are screw mount SMC's than same optically as their K mount counterparts

I was wondering whether or not the SMC m42 lenses are optically identicl in
performance to their K mount counterparts. Are they????

Eg
the 28mm 3.5 smc m42 optically equals the 28mm 3.5 smc k versions
the 135mm 2.5 smc m42 = 135mm smc k?????
