This may have been asked before: I noticed that while both the *ist & *ist-D use the same AF system, it seems that the 11 AF points cover a much larger area in the *ist-D finder/screen. In the film *ist, the area coverage by the 11 points looks much smaller.
Is this due to the fact that the *ist-D has a smaller sensor (APS size), hence a smaller focusing screen? It seems then that this 11 point AF system was designed for the *ist-D & the APS sensor. Maybe I'm WAY off-base here or wrong entirely. Just an observation. Clarification would be good. Thx Peter __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
