I haven't used this specific lens but I have used the FA 28/2.8AL (which is mechanically very similar - I'm assuming you're wondering about manual focus feel, etc.) on my MX frequently. It's actually a very nice combination. I have no issues with the narrow focusing ring on the FA lenses. If you get it I'd like to know your impressions of the 35/2.0 lens.
