I do think the APS sensor will survive. They can make a bunch of new lenses (a plus from the camera makers POV) and it's a real bonus for telephoto fans. I have a queation that is the reverse of one askeed earlier. How many stops do you gain for the same depth of field as 35 mm with the APS sensor? Can I simply use the arguemnt: My "300" (APS) has the DOF of a "200"(35 mm)?
