Anyone familiar with the performance of the FA 80-320? I found that a Nikon D100 with the 75-300 lens was a really nice lightweight combination for quite a bit of my on-track shooting. There's no way you could call anything involving the 80-200/2.8 lightweight, although I've often used that (with a Sigma 1.4x TC). I'm not sure I want to step all the way down to the new FA-J lens, but I seem to recall that the 80-320 was well received when it was first released, so I'm thinking of trying one with the *ist-D (yes, I too have one on order at Adorama).
P.S. If anyone is still keeping track of who owns which bodies, I've now added an SF-1 and the *ist-D to my MX/MX/SP/PZ-1p/MZ-S.
