Hi Sylwek, The above is true only if you assume the same diameter of the "Circle of Confusion" for 35mm film and the APS- size CCD. That is a pretty gross assumption, and not one I would support ... >From long experience of 35mm versus medium format comparisons I think we should take the very greatest care when relating different DOFs for different formats. When comparing digital to film we should be even more careful about drawing what appear to be finely-balanced conclusions made on the basis of gross assumptions. John
