This is an interesting question to me because I normally carry 4 lenses in my camera bag.
24mm/2.0 Vivitar 50mm/1.7 Pentax-M 100mm/2.8 Pentax-M 80/200mm/2.8 Tokina + a 2x teleconverter to make the Tokina a 160-400/5.6 The reason I use the Vivitar and the 1.7 is because the M24/2.8 and M50/1.4 brought in more money when I had to sell somethings. These 4 lenses cover 95% of my needs. They give a distinctively different look to the photos made with each of them. I have owned 24, 28, 35, 50, 85, 100, 135, 200, 300 primes, also 28-40, 35-70, 80-200, 100-300 zooms. The only one of them I really miss is the M35/2.0. I would also like to have a 17mm, or so, super wide-angle. A macro would be nice but I do not do a lot of macro work so close up lenses mostly can do the job. --graywolf http://graywolfphoto.com > If you could only have four lenses in your camera bag, which ones would you > chose and why --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
