BTW, I am sure someone has mentioned -- but, if they haven't, link 
thumbnails, do not embed them in the database. Embedding graphics in an Access 
database 
bloats the whole thing memory-wise and slows everything down. You may also run 
out of memory and Access won't load.

I have used Access for several programming projects (for others) and have not 
been impressed. Definitely unimpressed. But for a small database, I guess 
it's okay. However, when it comes to automatically filling in fields, it's weak. 
In many instances I found having it fill in fields automatically was undoable 
(unless writing VBA code in a module that did a sort of batch processing 
routine), but maybe I was not that clued in to all the ins and outs of Access since 
I was self-taught from books.
