I found my A*100/2.8 Macro when someone on the list said: "I just saw the
A*100/2.8 Macro at ritzclassics.com [or something like that)]; can you
believe they want that much for it?!?"  I could believe it, I immediately
went and bought it. Thanks list-guy, whoever you are! [I think it was Paul
S. but am not sure...]

As others have said, by posting such a notice you are not driving up the
price (as you would on eBay). So, go for it. Within reson, nobod wants a
constant bombardment of info about every lens for sale anywhere in the
world. But when the great ones show up, tell the world! Or at least PDML...
