The machine we use for Picture CD's scans the prints at about 300 dpi, and
ends up making a jpeg file anywhere from 500kb to just over a megabyte.
I suspect there is a Kodak standard in there someplace for it.
I suspect they are having some scanner issues. I've not seen what Kieth was
describing coming off our CD maker, but I also don't get to see a lot of the
output from that machine. I have only had a couple of CDs made for my own
use.
