Yeah, but the Mz-S grip needed you to take the batteries out of the
body.  The point of the grip for the *istD is that you double your shoot
time.  I can see why you like the extra stability of something more
firmly clamped, but I prefer this way.

Another thing, the hand mould on the grip for vertical shooting is much
better contoured for my hands - its really nice.  Its just a shame it
doesn't fit in my more portable camera bags when mounted on the camera.
For this reason I probably wont use it a lot.
