I am as always struggling to keep up with this list. Oh what fun I have with that.. :-)
Just thought I would pipe in to let those interested - okay only three of you - know what I have been up to. This past weekend I helped put on a combination seafood and pirate festival. I took minimal pics with the Optio S. I dropped off ten rolls of 35mm film today. They were slides and b&w prints. Unfortunately I did not have the time to get the 645n out for a spin. At some point in time I would like to set things up so I can spend plenty of time taking photos. Thinking about all the talk of the *istD, I still cannot see myself going full digital. There is something more archival with film. I could have used the DSLR this weekend, but I would not have forgotten the film cameras. I am a little envious with all the talk of the arrival of the DSLR. Being in the boondocks, I have no idea when I will see one here. I would have enjoyed using one yesterday while doing some family portraiture using fill flash for a friend. I used my Nikon CoolPix previously as a 'Polaroid' test during my first bridal shoot, but somehow I could not do it this time around. I bracketed, but until I see the shots I am still holding my breath. I see myself using the DSLR to get more familiar with flash photography - admittedly my main weakness in photography. Thinking of it a little more, how will I juggle screwmount, k-mount, medium format, and digital? Time will tell. No real reason for the post, just wanted the list know that I am still alive. Especially since I have missed the PUG lately... Still trying to figure out how I can keep the title of roving PDML Ambassador, C�sar Panama City, Florida
