Dave,

Thanks for the report.  That is what I was looking for.  That is about
the same as the 165/2.8.  In order to get just a tight head shot, I
have to put on a tube.  It would be interesting to know what short
tele - if any - can produce a tight head shot suitable for portraits.
 I'm beginning to hunch that it may be the 135 macro.  My new (to me)
 120 soft will do it, but it is somewhat limited in the type of shot
 (only soft or well stopped down).  Anyone out there know?
