You know the Netscape icon at the top right of a page, that indicates activity by displaying shooting stars against a deep blue sky? Well, when I click on any URL, that starts working, while it's getting the page info from the URL site. Normally this takes a couple or three seconds to actually start showing the site's first page in a browser window. In this instance, when it can't find or can't open the site, the icon keeps working and working, but nothing else happens. Nothing appears in the browser window. It stays blank. NetCOMM 4.79 will act that way. I then went to Netscape 7.01 and tried to open each one of those URLs, and 7.01 times out after a period of time, and a small window comes up saying it tried, but it won't open. keith > anders > ------------------------- > http://anders.hultman.nu/
