FWIW, I saw a printed flyer here in Toronto, in one of the papers. I thought it said $2599, but maybe you they noticed their error mid-run, and those of you in the outlying areas got the earlier-printed mis-prints, Vic. Whatever, it was the same price as the Canon 10 D (or is that D 10?), and a cool $500Cdn more than the DigiRebel.

OTOH, in the little description of the camera, it did mention the stable metal body, and that it's compatible with Pentax K mount glass.

Actually, it's $2599. Check the interactive flyer on the main page of their website, page 5. I called them to double-check, and that's the right price.
