Up until I bought an Epson 925 printer this week I would have agreed. Now
I've got mixed feelings on this. This particular printer supports PRINT
image matching, and with jpg and tif images will use camera settings written
into the original image files by the camera at the time of exposure. I've
tried it with images from the Optio S and the results are really awesome.
