Might be coming from a slightly different perspective being a hack, such as
I am. I've had my camera for about 48 hours now many of which I've spent
sleeping, driving, and working so I am by no means proficient with the
thing.
So, in no particular order:

Hyper-program is COOL!

The battery door is easy to open and not so easy to close.

I tried to use the regular AA batteries but it wouldn't work so I loaded up
the fancy ones it came with.

White balance, something else to worry about...

the little screen in the back isn't great for making evaluations about white
balance :)

Wish that AF button on the back was the AE-L.

The CF ejector COULD push it out a bit more...

This camera looks (and works) great with my newish Sigma 70-300

The flash dome makes it hard to push down the aperture ring button (to take
it off of A) on the lenses I've tried on the camera.

I guess I've used the DOF preview button on my other two bodies more than I
knew, miss it here. Camera could very well do this but I don't know how
yet.

Changing ISO instantly is VERY COOL!

My nose sweats a lot :)

Viewing and deleting photos is easy as pie.

The auto-off feature will save my bacon. I am forever forgetting to turn
off my 5n. The default 1 min is a tad short though.

The included strap is cool.

Wish they'd have included the AC adapter.

I'll probably get the grip.

I wonder how long all the plastic caps for the connectors will last.

For some reason the instant preview was lasting like 1/8th second...not
good. I re-set the desired length (3 seconds) and it's fine now. It
sometimes waits for the drive to finish before displaying though.

that's it for now. I'm quite tired after spending all day working the NFL
game with the Falcons looking like they were paid to loose...

OH, a photo from today (an ACTUAL Falcon) is available here:

come to think of it, THAT's my Professional Photo for the month :)
